Montgomery
Discovered as fragments in a barn at Montgomery Place—an early 19th-century estate overlooking the Hudson River—this collection was reimagined from a few weathered components and a single archival photograph from the 1920s or ’30s. With its sculpted backs, curved frames, and whimsical geometry, the design blends American vernacular with echoes of Rococo revival and chinoiserie, transformed into a distinctive outdoor presence. Recreated in collaboration with Historic Hudson Valley, the collection honors the elegance of early estate gardens while standing confidently in today’s landscapes.
