Hadley Lounge Chair II & Ottoman

Albert Hadley — our first client — lent us an original René Gabriel chair for reproduction on his Southport, Connecticut porch.

The current Hadley II offers updated comfort with an optional ottoman.

Hadley

The Hadley Collection traces its origins to a small chair found by John Danzer and Albert Hadley in Nashville in the 1990s—admired for its compact scale and clarity of structure. Years later, Danzer’s archival research revealed the design to be by René Gabriel, the influential French modernist. Reinterpreted for outdoor durability and redesigned with a signature woven grid, the Hadley Collection honors Gabriel’s spirit while standing firmly in the present.

A Broader Vocabulary

Our work is designed to remain in context — complementing nature rather than competing with it. But our true distinction lies in breadth.

With more than 180 designs in three materials spanning traditional
to modern, designers are not confined to a uniform “suite,” but can compose layered, nuanced environments. The silhouettes are distinctive,
often unexpected, yet versatile enough to sit comfortably within a
wide range of architectural settings.
