Stainless Steel — Valued for its exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, stainless steel maintains a clean, modern appearance while standing up to harsh outdoor environments.
1834
The 1834 Collection traces its origins to an original antique chair and an accompanying catalogue from the 1834 Exhibition of Products of French Industry in Paris, both preserved in our archive. At that exhibition, a Parisian maker received a medal for introducing garden furniture in fer creux laminé—laminated hollow iron—an innovation that made pieces lighter, more resilient, and aligned with the emerging industrial aesthetic. Working directly from these historic forms, we have reinterpreted the award-winning designs into a cohesive family of chairs, benches, sofas, and tables that honor the earliest expressions of functional metalwork.
A Broader Vocabulary
Our work is designed to remain in context — complementing nature rather than competing with it. But our true distinction lies in breadth.
With more than 180 designs in three materials spanning traditional
to modern, designers are not confined to a uniform “suite,” but can compose layered, nuanced environments. The silhouettes are distinctive,
often unexpected, yet versatile enough to sit comfortably within a
wide range of architectural settings.
